Participants for a panel on “Modern Scandinavian Poetry” at the SASS-Conference in Quad Cities, Davenport, Iowa/Rock Island, Illinois, April 26-28, 2007
We are working on forming a panel on “Modern Scandinavian Poetry” at the SASS-Conference in Quad Cities, Davenport, Iowa/Rock Island, Illinois, April 26-28, 2007, and we are looking for participants with topics relating to this field. If you are planning to participate in the conference with a paper on modern Scandinavian poetry or a related topic and would like to join us, we would very much like to hear from you.
So far we have submitted abstracts for two papers. Johannes Göransson is presenting a paper on the Finland-Swedish poet Henry Parland, Walter Benjamin and "the poetics of distraction", and I am preparing a paper on the contemporary Danish poet Mette Moestrup. If you are interested in joining the panel, please contact me at oelholm@hum.ku.dk or Johannes at johannesgoransson@gmail.com
