CALL FOR PAPERS
The AVANT-GARDE and TECHNOLOGY
Deadline, January 15, 2007
Dear participants of the Nordic Network of Avant-Garde Studies,
We hope that you all have had an inspiring and revitalizing summer, and that your work after the conference last fall in Stockholm have been challenging and pro¬ductive. Now the time has come for us to ask you for a contribution to a planned volume in relation to the theme of the conference 2005, i.e. The Avant-Garde and Technology. The volume will be in English and will hopefully be published in late 2007 or in 2008 (the work with finding a publisher is in progress).
The contributions for the volume should explicitly address the problematics indi¬cated by the rubric of the conference, and it will be edited in accordance with this. We will ask you to first send an extended abstract (for those of you who contri¬buted to the conference, an edited version of the conference abstract will do), on approx. 500 words, plus references. The deadline is set to January 15th, 2007. Out of these abstracts we will outline the structure of the volume, which we aim in keeping as homogenous, yet challenging, as possible.
The final contributions should not exceed 15-20 pages in length (12p, sp. 1,5).
For those of you who did not attend the Conference, see website below for a list of abstracts and contributions:

Looking forward to reading a lot of interesting papers!
Best wishes,
